Boots, I Did It Again

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on August 28th, 2008

Though I am not a fan of the singer, her song just kept coming to me when writing this. It’s no surprise that I can’t go anywhere without being lured into a new pair of boots, or shoes, for that matter. 2008 has certainly proven to be a shoe nesting year. Wonder what 2009 will […]

Get This Look - Refined Casual

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on August 25th, 2008

Moving into Fall, you need some basics to carry you through … lunch with a friend, movie night, volunteer time at school, soccer games (okay, minus the heels) and casual Friday at work. The jacket is perfect for most of the year and the color is a great neutral for most. The V-neck tee is […]

Liquid Leggings: Love ‘em or Hate ‘em?

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on August 24th, 2008

It was purposeful that I omitted liquid leggings from my FW08 fashion forecast. It’s hard for me to take them seriously. Especially when the new season has so much to offer. Yes, they happen to be the “it” item of the moment. However, I can assure you the trend will not last very long, if […]

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on August 22nd, 2008

You can’t help but be drawn into Eileen. And by Eileen Burke, herself. Almost five years ago, Eileen Burke set out to follow her dream of owning her destiny. Little did she know she would attract a cult following.

If I Had a Dime

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on August 5th, 2008

If I had a dime for every person who stopped me on the streets, in the airport, at the mall, in the grocery store, in the parking lot, at the dentist office, and on the plane to say “I love your bag … where did you get it?” - I would not only have been […]
