12 Days on the Road

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on July 30th, 2008

A couple of weeks ago, I took the kids to Arkansas and Dallas with me for business and pleasure (mostly pleasure). We had an incredible time - never felt the anxiety of being away from home, which was a sign of a fantastic trip! And my children behaved like perfect angels (well, almost) on the […]

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on July 28th, 2008

Beautiful, smart and courageous, Lily Garfield knows a thing or two about starting a business. She also knows how to deliver the right products to her customers.
Lily Garfield grew up in New York. After graduating from college, she left home for Aspen, CO to become a ski bum. While there, she worked for Lancome and […]

Granted, we have a few more grueling hot months to endure before we can whip out our Fall wardrobe. But alas, […]

Noir Cosmetics

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on July 16th, 2008

It’s rare that I discover something so amazing at the launch of a new product line. My Mascara Roundup brought me together with Noir Cosmetics and I couldn’t be happier. This new cosmetics line made its debut in May and again in June with a focus on black - as in eyes! Like the little […]

Summer Sales Make Room For Fall

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on July 7th, 2008

This is the time of year to capitalize on Summer sales and Fall presales. You will notice major markdowns on Spring/Summer merchandise this month as retailers prepare for Fall merchandise to hit their stores. Sun Protection

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on July 6th, 2008

After just five sunburns, the risk for skin cancer increases dramatically. Think of the amount of time your children spend outside (or in the schoolyard) without shade to cover them. Also a contributor to the loss of a natural filter from harmful rays is the rapid disappearance of the ozone layer. Each year the […]

Comment Contest

Posted by: Catherine Horgan on July 2nd, 2008

I can’t believe we are approaching the 400th comment. Seems like just a couple of weeks ago we hit the 300th mark. That tells me that everyone is a lot chattier these days, which is great! So, chat away and you will be rewarded. Yes, indeed. I am creating another contest around comments. The person […]
