Eileen’s tanks and tees
Whether you live in t-shirts or just love comfortable layering pieces, you will love Eileen’s tops. Though her website doesn’t showcase the huge variety of t-shirts in her store, you can certainly enlist my help (personal shopping) to find just the perfect assortment. Or call Eileen and place an order. Her prices are unreal - seriously unreal - for the quality and comfort. I have five different t-shirts/tanks and love them and wear them all the time. My favorite is my green star long-sleeve t-shirt. Definitely an A.
Alison Raffaele True Concealer #3
I must admit, I never use concealer and because of that, am not the best at application. However, I realize the importance of a great concealer. I can attest that this is, indeed, a great product. It goes on easy with your finger or a brush (I prefer a brush) and you can use it for small cover-ups or on the inside of your eyes and nose for highlighting. You need the tiniest amount - so go lightly at first. I have dry skin and the only thing I can say is if you have dry skin, as well, be sure to use a good eye cream before application. Costume National Scent and Scent Gloss
I was so very pleasantly surprised with these fragrances. Scent Gloss is lighter than Scent but both have staying power and invite compliments all day long. Scent Gloss is a sexy, florally-fresh scent. Scent is more exotic with blends of warm spices and ambry florals. It’s a bit stronger - call this your evening fragrance. Though I like Scent Gloss better, both get a B.
(Malin+Goetz) detox face mask
Okay, this is just the coolest mask ever. You put it on and it immediately starts to activate, bubbling up and doing its job - detoxification! It’s a quick mask that leaves your skin refreshed, purified and soft. The directions indicate that you don’t have to cleanse your face first - but I do anyway. I give this a B+.
Blue Silk nutritive perfection creme
This was a fun one! Not only did I get to test this, but my sisters and one of my friends did, as well. We were all in agreement that the list of ingredients is quite impressive. Love to see antioxidants packed into a moisturizer … and the healing properties. Even more impressive is that it’s paraben, paraffin and mineral oil-free. All testers agreed that it goes on silky smooth at night and we awoke with soft skin. Our only caution is the hydration factor. We didn’t feel that the moisturizer penetrated the skin as well as we would have liked through the winter months. All in all, though, a great product for a great price. We say a B!
Theraderm Peptide Repair Eye Crème
This is a fantastic eye cream. It stimulates collagen production and helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. Patented soluble keratin peptides from natural sources increase collagen production leading to restored thickness of skin thinned by aging. I am not only hooked, my entire family (and friends and their families) are hooked! You can apply it on your eyelids, in addition to under and around your eyes. Use it twice a day. Just wait a couple minutes after you apply it in the morning before putting on your eye makeup. I have been pleasantly surprised how quickly the eye crème penetrates the skin on my eyelids - no sliding eye makeup! And for the month of February, it’s 50% off! Amazing product at full price or half off! Brilliant - an A+.
DuWop Prime VENOM Balm
I am sad to say I was very disappointed with this product. Yes, it feels minty and tingly so you think it’s working … but it does nothing. Nothing. Don’t waste your money. D-
Splendore Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better than my new love, Keune Blend, Splendore comes along. I am always looking for hydrating hair care products and this is terrific! Linen flower and sunflower extracts combined with extract of violet provide extreme protection plus super hydration and nourishment. It leaves my hair soft and shiny for days! B.
