Earthworks pur-essence frangipani shower gel
While the scent is okay and the gel leaves skin soft, the packaging leaves little to be desired. It’s really difficult to pump the gel out and it didn’t blow me away enough to pick this one over any other gel in my shower. This gets a C.
Zona Botanical Cleanse Italian Lemon Bath Satchel
These bathing satchels are so handy. They not only scent and soften your bath, but they are meant to cleanse, as well. Very creative product. B.
Therapon Theraderm 4-step Skin Renewal System
I cannot say enough about the whole Theraderm line, let alone this easy-to-use 4-step skin care system. What I love - the cleanser is foamy and gets your skin squeeky clean without stripping any moisture. The fruit acid can be applied to your entire face, including eyelids, and is immediately absorbed into your skin. The OPC Serum rocks the house from an ingredient standpoint and also penetrates skin upon application. And the enriched formula moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated all day and all night, again being immediately absorbed, and provides this healthy, subtle dewy look. This has surpassed expectations - especially in the winter months when I am typically flakey. Not flakey with Theraderm products, at all. Look for more products listed in the upcoming review section. An A+!
Philip B. Drop Dead Hair Straightening Baume
The best ever straightening gel that leaves no residue and yet keeps your hair silky soft. Fly aways and frizz don’t stand a chance. I give this an A.
Alison Raffaele Mineral powder and to go brush
This is such a great mineral powder in a convenient container. It goes on light and provides a fresh look. I love the size and the color matches are superb. This gets a B.
Alison Raffaele Inner Glow gel blush in Charming
Against my original thinking in the blush department for my skin, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Charming looks like a “wow, are you really going to put that on” kind of color, but goes on soft and natural (think ski flush). Love this - B+.
Dr. Lewinn’s Ultra R4 Recovery Masque
Really nice hydrating, yet rejuvenating mask. It firms and targets lines and wrinkles. One of my favorites! B.
Susan Posnick Dual-end mascara and brow gel
This is that amber-colored mascara I have been talking about. It allows people to see your eyes without being distracted by your lashes. It’s a nice soft look for your eyes. Natural yet well done. I also have this in Slate. I give this a B.
Susan Posnick COLOR EYE DEFINE Eyeliner-Eyeshadow in Amethyst Opal
I am absolutely in love with this color on my eyes. I also love that I can keep it simple or layer for a more dramatic look. The dual tips allow for contrast and ease of use. I have found that it creases from time to time, so I keep it in my purse. Plus, I reach for this more than 4 days a week so I choose to keep it near me at all times. B+.
Cover Girl LashBlast
This was quite difficult to get a hold of. I had been searching for it for months. Though I like the big brush, I can’t say that it does anything different than that of Volume Exact (which I love). For a drugstore mascara at $7, you just cannot go wrong. Of course, I don’t use it on my bottom lashes. Gets a B.
Joe’s Jeans Honey Perry
I love the color and, for the most part, cut of these jeans. However, two things I noticed. One, when washed on delicate (as directions instruct), one of the gold grommets came off. Also, with the thinness of this jean and the stretch fabric, they tend to bag a bit after 2 or 3 wears. Nonetheless, I do like them and the price is reasonable. B.
LUSH Buffy exfoliating bath bar and Amazonian massage bar
LUSH has always been an obsession of mine, so really, it doesn’t matter what you buy - you are going to love it. As for Buffy - it exfoliates leaving behind sinfully silky skin (use in the shower). The Amazonian massage bar can be used after you dry off and it leaves you smooth as butter. Perfect for the winter months. This gets an A.
Simply Sarah Cosmetic Clutch Signature Dot
I bought this to keep in my purse for lipsticks/lipglosses. When I received it, I didn’t think I would be able to fit everything in it. To my surprise, I could! I just love the polka dot pattern - makes it a snap for finding in my purse. And well, it’s so darn cute! Naturally, it attracts attention. My only wish would be for the inside to be a darker color versus the white (as the white shows the stitching). I give this a B.

I too suffer from flaky skin every winter and have tried something new each year hoping that I will finally find something that works. Well you were right on the mark about Theraderm!! I initially ordered the enriched moisturizer that you recommended and was excited to received a trial size of the 4-step skin renewal system with my order. I am amazed at how well this system works. No flaky skin for me either!!

I am just thrilled you have found success with Theraderm. I cannot say enough about it, obviously. And mostly because I have such a bout with dry skin - and now I can say I “used to” have a bout with dry skin. Yeah for you!

Anything Philip B is awesome. I really recommend the Philip B jet set hairspray, it is amazing. If you have not tried it you really need to check it out.
Earthworks Frangipani shower gel is moisturizing and amazing and nothing short of and A + . As for the packaging, it’s amazing and clean looking; the pump is very cool and perfect for use -so superior to anything else out there. Completely disagree with your review!
